Tacky and Wacky : Benidorm
This Benidorm album was suggested by my Daughter and it is all about the artwork, colours, crap, food outlets, restaurants, tacky gift shops, wacky signage that can be seen in Benidorm which is within the Costa Blanca region on the White Coast. It is a coastal town and a municipality located in the Comarca of Marina Baixa within the province of Alicante.
Prior to the 1960s, Benidorm was simply just a small idyllic spanish fishing village. But today it now stands out for its beaches, holiday industry and skyscrapers and was built as a result of its tourist oriented economy. I and my Wife have been there many times over the years and will continue to do so.
