North Street Quarter : Lewes
A collection of photos from the Lewes North Street Quarter area, which after many years of demonstrations, fights, planning applications, protests, negotiations and brown envelopes, the Santon group were granted planning permission to demolish and rebuild North Street and Phoenix Place in Lewes. Evictions have already started in Phoenix Place (March 2016) with work starting in (April 2016) The whole Lewes North Street Quarter project should be completed with North Street by 2021.
