Winterbourne Stream : Lewes
The Winterbourne stream in Lewes makes its first appearance at the Newmarket Inn as a gentle stream, but by the time it empties into the River Ouse through a series of culverts, tunnels and open streams and with many other small streams and storm drains emptying into it along the way, the Winterbourne can become a very dangerous tidal river which empties into the River Ouse and the approximate course of it is as follows.
